PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition containing an inorganic particle capable of forming a dielectric layer excellent in surface smoothness even by low temperature and short time baking treatment, a transfer film having a layer comprising the resin composition, and a method for producing a dielectric layer for a plasma display panel using the transfer film. SOLUTION: This resin composition containing an inorganic particle comprises (A) an inorganic particle and (B) a binder resin containing a polymer having a constitutional unit expressed by general formula (1), wherein R represents a monovalent organic group. This method for producing a dielectric layer for a plasma display panel comprises a step of transferring a resin layer containing the inorganic particle on a substrate by using a transfer film having the resin layer containing the inorganic particle comprising the resin composition containing the inorganic particle, and a step of baking the resin layer containing the inorganic particle.
