Method of managing service information by a device for receiving digital services and device implementing the method

The method involves receiving complimentary tables (7.14) of description of offered digital service received via a complimentary channel different from an offered service description table diffusion channel. The complimentary channel has a channel data of a mobile telephony network e.g. global system for mobile communication (GSM) network. A service list having information included in the tables is constructed. The complimentary channel has a stream channel for data transfer. The channel has a data storage peripheral connected to a digital service reception terminal e.g. mobile telephone. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a terminal for reception of digital services diffused via digital data stream (2) a system for diffusion of digital services to a digital service reception terminal (3) a table for description of digital services diffused via digital data stream, destined to be interpreted by a digital service reception terminal.
