A special feature of a cleaner of root heads is in that a driven shaft contains two additional cleaning elements arranged diametrically opposite and shifted for an angle of 90 DEGREE relative to the main cleaning elements. Each of the cleaning elements is made as three loops of elastic bands fixed by means of two clamps mounted in grooves arranged across the perimeter of a circle on the generatrix of the drive shaft. The rigidity of the middle loop of each of the elements is lower than the rigidity of side loops thereof.
