A contents dispersive-saving system is provided to make it possible to smoothly carry out special reproduction even in the case that one unit contents data are divided into a plurality of contents data and the divided contents data are dispersively saved by a plurality of spreading-over node devices. The node device stores contents catalog information comprised of identification information of the divided contents data and key frame information including information indicative of an offset position of the frame image data in each divided contents data; receives an instruction of the reproduction of the contents data from a user; specifies the key frame information corresponding to the frame image data to be reproduced in response to the instruction and the identification information of the divided contents data including the frame image data to be reproduced in accordance with the contents catalog information; and obtains the frame image data corresponding to the specified key frame information and the identification information.
