PURPOSE:To improve efficiency of heat energy transport by decomposing an alcohol by heat energy, transporting a decomposed product by pressurizing mechanism of a hydrogen storage alloy and releasing heat energy generated by again synthesizing an alcohol of the decomposed product. CONSTITUTION:Methanol is decomposed by heating in the existence of catalyst, the decomposed product is cooled, condensed, and then an airtight vessel 1 is charged with hydrogen and hydrogen storage alloy so as to be transported to a boosting device 8 where a piston is attached. Next, the boosting device is heated for boosting and the resulting decomposed product is transported to an alcohol synthesizing part 1. Next, the decomposed product is heated, boosted by a motor-driven booster, and then introduced to the alcohol synthesizing part 1 together with hydrogen, carbon monoxide and methanol recovered by cooling, condensing and gas-liquid separation. The alcohol is synthesized by heating in the existence of catalyst. By the synthesization the generated heat can be recovered as heat energy. |
