A multipurpose cooking apparatus is provided to cook foods with high heat efficiency by receiving indirect or direct heat from the heaters in roasting members having grills and transferring heat of the roasting members to the foods. A multipurpose cooking apparatus comprises a heating member(2), a body(1), and roasting members(4). The heating members such as heaters(21) are bent in a U, circular, or zigzag shape. The body has a power supply control part(3) and an opening. The roasting member is inserted into the opening of the body. The roasting members, comprising grills(41), are placed between the heaters or at an upper part of the heater and receive heat from the heaters directly or indirectly to cook the foods. |
