The device (9) has a fuel filter (12) for separating highly volatile fuel components and low volatile fuel components from each other. An outlet (15) discharges filtered fuel (14) i.e. petrol, from a storage volume (11) and a pressure volume (10) for accommodating non-filtered fuel (13). An inlet (16) supplies the non-filtered fuel into the pressure volume, where the storage and the pressure volume are separated from each other by the filter. The inlet and another outlet (17) are arranged at the pressure volume such that a flow of the non-filtered fuel runs along a surface of the filter. An independent claim is also included for a fuel supply system comprising a fuel separation device.
