PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gateway device capable of reducing a time consumed for reconnection with the reduction of a load on the relay equipment side at the reconnection, without need of special means for the reconnection to a communication network from a local terminal.SOLUTION: A connection terminal management unit 10 manages the registration state of each network connection terminal to be connected to the communication network. The network selection unit 13 selects a network connection terminal to determine a communication route between the network connection terminal and the local terminal. When a network connection monitoring unit 14 determines that connection to the communication network from the network connection terminal is not possible, the network selection unit 13 performs reselection from among other network connection terminals currently connected to the network connection unit 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
