The purpose of the present invention is to provide a magnetic shielding package of a non-volatile magnetic memory element having a high magnetic shielding effect. The magnetic shielding package of a non-volatile magnetic memory element comprises: a supporting plate (12) composed of a soft magnetic material; a first insulating material layer (13) formed on top of the supporting plate; a non-volatile magnetic memory element (11) having a surface, which is opposite to an element circuit surface, fixated onto the first insulating material layer; a second insulating material layer (14) for sealing the non-volatile magnetic memory element and the periphery thereof; a wiring layer (15) formed in the second insulating material layer; a soft magnetic layer (15b or 25) composed of a soft magnetic material formed in the second insulating material layer; a conduction part (16) installed in the second insulating material layer to connect an electrode on the element circuit surface of the non-volatile magnetic memory element to the wiring layer; and a magnetic shielding member (17) including a soft magnetic material arranged in the shape of a wall to envelop the whole or part of the side surface of the non-volatile magnetic memory element with a gap from the side surface of the non-volatile magnetic memory element, wherein the soft magnetic layer and the magnetic shielding member are magnetically connected to each other. |
