Disclosed is a device to control a brush roll to clean casting rolls for a twin roll strip casting process comprising: a hydraulic cylinder power target value setting module calculating each desirable power value of a first hydraulic cylinder connected to a first brush roll of twin casting rolls, and a second hydraulic cylinder formed in a second brush roll of the twin casting roll; and a hydraulic control calculating module calculating control values of each hydraulic valve formed in the first and second hydraulic cylinders using each desirable power value, bore pressures, and annulus pressures of the first and second hydraulic cylinders. The purpose of the present invention is to provide the device and a method to control the brush roll to clean the casting rolls for a twin roll strip casting process capable of evenly removing mill scale generated on a surface of the twin casting rolls.
