USE OF RSPH9 FOR PROGNOSTIC MARKER DIAGNOSIS OF BLADDER CANCER

The present invention relates to a novel bio marker for prediagnosing bladder cancer and uses thereof, and more specifically, to uses of a marker for prediagnosing bladder cancer and diagnosing a non-muscle Invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) using expression characteristics according to a methylation pattern of RSPH9 genes. One purpose of the present invention is to provide a marker composition for diagnosing bladder cancer containing one or more of the genes. Another purpose of the present invention is to provide various uses required in diagnosing bladder cancer of the genes and prediagnosing the bladder cancer. The other purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for screening materials having functions of treating the bladder cancer using the genes. A composition for a bladder cancer-prediagnosing marker according to the present invention comprises RSPH9 genes. An information providing method for diagnosing bladder cancer comprises the steps of: measuring methylation levels of RSPH9 genes from a biological sample separated from a patient; and comparing expression levels of the genes or levels of proteins coded by the genes with a methylation level of a corresponding gene of a normal control sample.
