HEAT-RESISTANT BIOLOGICALLY SOLUBLE COMPOSITIONS FOR MINERAL FIBRES

The mineral fibre materials produced by this composition are used for heat and/or sound insulation or as building components or materials. They are heat resistant and have high dissolving velocity in biological solutions. They consists basically of 53.5 to 64% SiO2, from 10 to 20% CaO, from 10 to 20% MgO and 6.5-9% FeO, the total quantity of FeO and Fe2O3 has been recalculated as FeO.
