PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device that can achieve high definition and wide gamut without increasing power consumption.SOLUTION: A pixel part in a display part consists of a first pixel part provided with a color filter transmitting green light and red light, and a second pixel part provided with a color filter transmitting green light and blue light. In each of frames, in a first field, data according to a green component of an input image signal is provided to the first pixel part and the second pixel part, and in a second field, data according to a red component of the input image signal is provided to the first pixel part and data according to a blue component of the input image signal is provided to the second pixel part. In each of the frames, only a green light source is lit up in the first field, and a red light source and a blue light source are lit up in the second field.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13 |
