The present invention provides a hinge unit and fastener for unhingable doors of motor vehicles, said hinge unit comprising a hinge including two sheets which are permanently joined together by a hinge pin, one of said hinge sheets being formed by a plate pleated piece, and releaseably fixed to the door column by an extension of the support which houses the hinge pin and at least a screw, and a door torque arm fastener having a C or S-shaped torque arm spring which is fixed to and supported in the second one of the hinge sheets, which comprises an interlocking device associated therewith, having sequentially arranged projections and cavities, said interlocking device being disposed in the hinge sheet which is formed on the plate pleated portion, which is characterized in that the hinge sheet formed by a plate pleated piece has an essentially U-shape, the retaining and fastening bodies - which are associated to the interlocking device cavities for the load arm of the door fastener torque arm spring- being associated to a first wing of said U-shaped pleated piece, and half of a positive bearing -which is radially disposed relative to the hinge axis in the direction of the support bearing- being configured adjacent to elbows disposed along both of the wings of said U-shaped pleated piece. |
