PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface mount inductor of high mounting flatness by reducing thermal and mechanical stresses applied to a coil, and a manufacturing method of the same.SOLUTION: The surface mount inductor includes: a coil formed by winding a conducting wire coated by an insulating coat; and an element body in which the coil in built in. The coil includes an extraction terminal part 2a. The extraction terminal part 2a is extended on a mounting surface of the element body. The mounting surface of the element body includes a recess part generated by the insulating coat of the extraction terminal part being peeled off. The recess part is filled with a metal so that the mounting surface of the element body becomes flat.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
