PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation input device capable of performing operation input based on the shape of user's hand by using a general camera.SOLUTION: With an operation input device, based on an imaged image near a driver seat of a moving body, an operation input of a user is recognized. Firstly, based on the imaged image obtained with a camera, a detection reference region is decided with an actual object near the driver seat, for example a handle, as a reference. Then, in the detection reference region, an operation object is detected based on a constraint in appearance of the operation object that is decided by a relation between an actual object and the operation object that is used for operation input such as, for example, a finger/hand. Then, a state of the detected operation object is estimated, and operation input is identified based on the state of the estimated operation object, for an operation signal corresponding to the operation input to be outputted to the device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
