PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to replace a housing of an image forming apparatus with a housing in a color desired by a user through simple work.SOLUTION: There is provided an image forming apparatus comprising an image forming part that forms images on recording sheets and a housing that accommodates the image forming part, where the housing includes a cylindrical, close-ended housing body part that has a cylindrical side wall part and a bottom part that is formed integrally in connection with the side wall part and a lid part that is attached to the housing body part to cover an opening of the housing body part. The image forming part is formed separately from the housing body part and is placed on the bottom part inside the housing body, and the lid part is removed from the image forming apparatus and the image forming part is lifted up to an opening side, so as to take the image forming part out from the inside of the housing body part through the opening and the image forming apparatus is removed from the housing body part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
