摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of forming a semiconductor-containing layer which can attain superior photoelectric conversion efficiency and durability for a dye-sensitized solar cell and a dye-sensitized solar cell using a semiconductor electrode.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a dye-sensitized solar cell that comprises: a first conductive support having a semiconductor-containing layer sensitized by a dye; a second conductive support having a counter electrode provided at a position where the semiconductor-containing layer and the counter electrode are opposed to each other at a predetermined interval; a charge transfer layer held in a gap between the first and second conductive supports; and a sealant provided in a peripheral part of the first and second conductive supports so as to seal the charge transfer layer, the semiconductor-containing layer of the first conductive support being manufactured by dye adsorption with a dye solution containing an ion-binding compound having a halide ion as some component or by dipping in a solution containing the ion-binding compound having the halide ion as some component after dye adsorption with the dye solution.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
