In the alignment work for centre lines involving adjustment of machine feet, often an angle fault, a so-called angle soft foot occurs between the machine feet and the foundation feet locating surfaces, which renders difficult the alignment work. With the angle fault persisting, construction tensions occur in the machine installation. - To resolve this problem a spherical underlay unit is laid as a base plate between the locating surfaces. The underlay comprises concave and convex plates which adopt a mutual position which fills the angle fault space and creates a tension-free and flat locating surface between the machine feet and the foundation feet on tightening the fixture bolts for the machine. |
