PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receipt printing system, with which the bill waiting time of a buyer can be checked as short as possible by a method wherein a logo is printed on a receipt without changing the printing speed of the receipt. SOLUTION: Under the condition that the power source of a POS terminal device is turned ON, the image data of a logo stored in a predetermined file on a magnetic disc device is read at the step 201 and stored in a storage part such as a RAM on the POS terminal device at the step 202. After that, a predetermined financial processing is performed for a buyer at the step 203. Necessary items such as names of commodities or the like are printed from a predetermined position of a machine glazed paper towards its longitudinal direction at the step 204. Just after the machine glazed paper is cut for making the receipt by one sheet at the step 205, the image data of the logo is fetched so as to print the logo at the head part of the machine glared paper, which is turned into the following receipt at the step 206. |
