Division B5] In a plastic pallet the upper and lower platforms comprise a plurality of parallel, U- shaped.ribs. 1,. 3;.with rectangular apertures 2, 4 therebetween, the ribs 1 of the upper platform are positioned over the. apertures 4 of the lower platform and. the ribs 3 of the lower platform are positioned beneath the apertures in the upper platform. Webs 5 extend transversely between the ribs to space the respective platform and further webs 6 extend between the limbs of the ribs. A metal reinforced edge 7 is provided around the upper platform and openings 10 are left in the lower platform to receive the forks of a lift truck. The pallet is a one-piece injection moulding and may be made from polyvinyl chloride, polypropylene or lowpressure polyethylene.
