PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct effects of original such as reflection, transmission and glitter onto reading of an image of originals. SOLUTION: In the case of obtaining a reflectance and a transmittivity of an original 103, a CCD 122 is used to read a reflected light of a white part 102a and a black part 102b provided to an original retainer 102 and a light transmitted through the original 103 and then reflected in the white part 102a and the black part 102b, the read data are calculated by a reflectance measurement circuit 133 to obtain the reflectance and the transmittivity. In the case of obtaining the glitter of the original, a mirror 113 is moved on an optical path G, the light from the black part 102b, the space of the original 103, the black part 102b at the rear side of the original formation or the like is read while apertures 111a, 123 are stopped, and the read data are calculated by a glitter measurement circuit 134. |
