1302242 Hooks HAPPICH GmbH Gebr 18 Feb 1970 [18 Feb 1969] 7784/70 Heading E2A A clothes hook comprises an apertured fixing plate 2 and a claw 3 pivoting, in brackets extending to the rear of the plate, against the action of a resilient projection 9 on the plate, which projection urges the claw to an inoperative position in which it forms a substantially continuous surface with the front face of the plate. The plate has lateral inclined shoulders 11 and a portion of reduced cross section to provide a gap between the end of the claw and the plate for the insertion of a loop on a garment. In a modification the rear of the claw is extended to provide the resilient projection. A pin on a section 3 of the claw may retain the claw in an operative position against the force of the resilient projection. |
