Recovery of azines form reaction mixtures

Ketazines are extracted from reaction mixtures which contain the ketazine, the corresponding hydrazone, methyl, ethyl ketone, ammonia and sodium chloride, with a solvent such as hydrocarbons, halogenated hydrocarbons or ketones. An aqeous ammoniacal phase and a solvent phase containing the ketazine are obtained. Ketazine is then isolated by distillation.
