A container 1, made of physiologically acceptable plastics material, for the storage and dispensing of medicinal solutions, has a capacity of at least 5 litres and a generally flat configuration, the maximum distance between two opposed flat sides being 60 mms., one of said sides having inwardly extending recesses or indentations 3 connecting with corresponding recesses or indentations on the other of said sides. It may be provided with a liquid closure member 5 for its outlet, which may have a vent tube 11 and an exit tube 13, each of which may be attached by piercing a diaphragm in the closure with a tapered cannula attached to the tubes. Direct ventilation may be achieved by means of the vent 12 also having a cannular which may be inserted through the wall of the container. |
