A shaft carrying the pattern control information is fitted with an exchangeable toothed wheel to control the garment size for the knitting cylinder, together with a cam face to control the stitch structure and a cam to trigger the operation of a yarn guide. The purpose is to provide a stepless pattern control, with an exchangeable wheel for a change of garment size.
