Soil reconditioner - contains water-holding material with adsorbed plant nutrients

Soil reconditioning agent consists of a mixt. of materials which bind or retain water, adsorbed to which are plant nutritive substances. Pref. a mixt. of disintegrated waste-paper opt. with ground peat and/or clay is used, the finely ground material being then treated with an aq. soln. or suspension of plant-nutritive salts. Even in heavy rain the latter are liberated only slowly.
