PURPOSE:To constitute an efficient network by using one representative terminal, which is connected to a host computer where a KARAOKE (recorded instrumental accompaniment) music is stored by a public line, and plural general terminals connected to this terminal. CONSTITUTION:New music is successively stored in a storage device provided in a host computer 4, and a representative terminal 2 has two functions, namely, the function to periodically request down loading of new music from the host computer and the function to simultaneously transfer new music to general terminals 5a, 5b...5x connected in parallel and to save it in storage devices provided in a general terminals. Each general terminal requests desired music to the representative terminal and saves its data and processes the KARAOKE music in accordance with this information and reproduces music by a synthesizer or the like. A main CPU of the representative terminal reads out requested data from many data stored in the main storage device to control the whole of the system. |
