Blanks are separated from the bottom of piles in a plurality of magazines by vertically reciprocating suction plates 12 which pass through frusto-conical bores in members 10 so as to draw the blanks downwards into the members 10, which constitute intermediate moulds of a carton-forming apparatus. |
