The telescopic drawer guide rail system comprises basically support rails (1) screwed onto the furniture carcase, central rails (8) mounted in the support rails and extensions rails (15) which form the side of the drawer (10). These centre rails (8) are connected together by an upright cross beam (7) which is mounted firmly along the rear ends of the centre rails (8) whilst cushion members or buffers (23) are attached to the angled track (12) of the latter (8) approximately level with the rollers (24) which are mounted in the back half of the rails (8). As the drawer (10) is extended the buffers (23) ram against the rollers (11) on the support rails (1) to restrict the extension of the centre rails which is also assisted by the recesses (14) at the front ends of the C-shaped support rails (1). |
