The cloche consists of inverted U-shaped supports (1) placed at a distance from one another and supporting a shoe (7) of plastic material. The supports have parts (9) bent at right angles and held by attachment fittings which can be driven into the soil. The bent parts (9) can fit into coupling tubes (4, 5) which join the bases of two U supports. The bent parts have curved locking sections (10) and may be formed by members fitting on the ends of the supports. The bent parts are pivotal in the attachment fitting so that the cloche can be raised by pivoting about one side.
