<p>The webbing is coiled-on onto the take up spool in such a way that the edges of the webbing do not touch the spool flanges in order to eliminate friction on these surfaces. The spool (3) accommodates the necessary number of widings (5) resulting after a complete coiling-on cycle. The spool (3) is fitted in housing (2) and the other relevant working parts of the mechanism, such as retractor spring and blocking assembly are arranged on either side of the housing. The housing has a slot (13) at the top through which the webbing (4) is entering and leaving the housing. Underneath the slot guide roller (8) is fitted with stubs (9) seated in flanks (10, 11) of the housing. On both ends of the roller (8) has shoulders (12) with surfaces tapered towards the stem of the roller (8) ensuring a strictly central position of the webbing in relation to the flanks (10, 11) without a contact between webbing and flank.</p> |
