The Parent Patent described an injection moulding machine for plastics in which a non-return valve sepd. the plasticising unit from the injection mould. In the addn. the plasticiser screw has pref. a head with a ball which is urged by a conical compression spring constantly in a direction opposite to the flow of material. The plasticiser screw has at the mould end a thread to engage the bolt end of the head. A ball is urged by a conical spring against a seat on the central channel. The head consists of two parts between which a wear-resistant ring is held by a screwed connection. The injection mould machine is suitable for plastics of a wide range of consistencies.
