PURPOSE:To enable replacement of lamp from the inside of ceiling, by forming a hole in the top plate of cylindrical body of lighting apparatus, and extending a lamp fitted n socket into the cylindrical body of lighting apparatus from above said hole in the topplate and holding the lamp firmly in the lighting apparatus. CONSTITUTION:Lamp 8 is firmly fitted in socket 3 and inserted into a round hole portion 2a of hole 2 formed in top plate 1a of cylindrical body 1. Then, one pair of flange-like projections 4 of the socket 3 are inserted through respective cuts 2b and then turned therein from the position of cuts 2b until they come to the position of round hole portion 2a, with the other pair of flange-like projections 5 being held in contact with the upper surface of top plate 1a. As the result, the top plate 1a is held firmly between the two projections 4 and 5. Here, stopper 6 is fitted in one of cuts 2c, so that turning of socket 3 can be prevented positively. |
