Image scanning using triple reflector - inserted at optical beam input so that deviation from null position effects image point shift

An optical scanning process is for spectrally-independent image scanning. A triple-reflector is inserted at the optical beam input so that its deviation from the null position effects an image point shift. This process permits a large image angle to be used. The process is realised in an esp. simple manner by an arrangement in which several mirrors are mounted on a disc rotating at right angles to the optical axis. Several triple-reflectors can be installed on a disc rotating about an axis in parallel with the optical axis. Triple prisms can be used instead of reflectors.
