<p>PURPOSE:To provide an effective deodorizing operation for offensive smelling gas containing combustible constitutents therein by a method wherein a hot heated filling material is applied. CONSTITUTION:Filler materials 46 having particle shape which are filled in a filling chamber 40 form a curved gas passage in the filling chamber 40 so as to extend a passage for the material, so that the offensive smelling gas is passed under a curved path among the filler materials 46 and heated to a sufficient high temperature with a sufficient reaction time while it is contacted with surfaces of the hot filler materials 46, and then kept for a required period of time. Combustible constituents contained in the offensive smelling gas is completely combusted and deodorized.</p> |
