<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilization steam generator for efficiently generating sterilization steam. <P>SOLUTION: A steamer 2 includes a cylindrical housing 6 having an introduction port 6a and a discharge port 6b at both ends. An introduction side passage 7 communicating with an air supply means 4 via the introduction port is connected to a discharge side passage 8 communicating with an isolator via the discharge port. A drop nozzle 9 for dropping sterilization liquid from a sterilization liquid supply means 3 is arranged in the upper part of the housing. Granules 14 are stored in a evaporation chamber 13 which is formed inside the steamer 2. Gas to be supplied from the air supply means is heated by a heating means 5 so as to heat the granules by the heated gas. In this case, the sterilization liquid is dropped from the drop nozzle onto the granules. Consequently, the sterilization liquid stuck onto the surface of the granules vapors by the heat of the heated granules and gas, so as to obtain the sterilization steam. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
