<p>An electric load center (1) having an enclosure (10) with a push-in screw holder fixture (40), a door latch (120) comprising a one-piece molded member having a flexible tongue (132) which urges the door latch toward the hinged door edge keeping a hook (134) biasedly engaged with an underside edge (55) of the trim, a neutral bar (500) having an elongated body portion (510) with a trapezoidal shaped cross-sectional area with outwardly sloping downwardly extending side walls (512, 514) having apertures (516) for insertion of electrical wires, a neutral tie bar (550) adapted to be electrically connected (586) to the enclosure (10, 38) of the load center, a main lug insulator (600) having trough-shaped longitudinally extending compartments (610A, 610B) and first and second support legs (622, 624) for positioning over the neutral tie bar (550), a basepan (200) having a surface (202) with integrally formed posts (242, 244) with an undercut (246) extending around its periphery for securing a component of the load center to the surface by heat staking, the surface (202) having two spaced apart integrally formed wall members (252, 254) extending upward from the surface forming a barrier (250) between the bus bars (400, 440) of the load center, the surface (202) having a tab (230) with a tapered lower edge (232) and a prong (234) extending from a side edge of the tab for capture by lances (34) found in the enclosure of the load center, the surface (202) having a neutral bar wire guide (270) comprising a wall (272) upwardly extending from the surface member and having semicircular slots (276) extending therethrough at an upper surface (275) for receiving and guiding a return wire into an aperture (516) in the neutral bar (500), the surface having a modular extension mounting foot (212) extending from a lower end wall (210) of a circuit breaker support rail (204) for receiving a modular extension basepan (300), the mounting foot (212) having a trapezoidal shaped slot (222) for engagement by a correspondingly shaped ramp (304) of the modular extension basepan (300), the modular extension mounting foot (212) further having a slot (222) for receiving a flexible snap hook (306) of the modular extension basepan (300) to secure the modular extension (300) basepan to the basepan (200).</p> |
