PURPOSE:To decrease the frictional resistance with a work and to execute smoothly laser beam processing by providing many air ejection ports to the surface of a work discharge member in a means for gripping and supporting movably the work for laser beam processing. CONSTITUTION:The work 3 for laser beam processing is gripped by gripping means 5a, 5b of a driving member 5 which is moved by a motor 6a on a horizontal guide rail 4. The work is supported by endless conveyance belts 9a, 9b which are moved by motors 6b, 6c on supporting plates 7a, 7b. The means 5a, 5b and the belts 9a, 9b move at a synchronous speed in the same direction Y. The work discharge member 15 is held in a horizontal position and the work is cut to a prescribed shape by the movement of a laser focusing head 2 in the direction X. The frictional resistance is decreased by the air from the many ejection ports 21 on the surface of the discharge member 15 to smooth the movement of the work 3. Many rollers or spherical bodies may be arranged on the surface in place of the ejection ports 21. |
