PURPOSE:To uniformly magnetize magnetic units by individually securing the units independently to an axis to be magnetized, thereby accurately positioning the units. CONSTITUTION:When fixing jigs 8, 9 and positioning jig 10 are used to be magnetized, a magnetic unit 5 and the jigs 8, 9 are attached to the outer surface of a rotor yoke 7, and the projection of the jig 10 is fitted in the groove of the jig 8. Since the unit 5 is effectively positioned at a position corresponding to magnetized tees 3 by the engagement, the positioning by visual observing work is eliminated, and accurate positioning can be performed. Thus, the unit 5 can be uniformly magnetized to suppress a cogging phenomenon of a servo motor.
