Throwing-game article. Produced in at least one piece, it has an elongate shape including a small projecting convex front part 1 which is relatively hard, by means of which it is held in order to be thrown, and a remaining part 2 at the rear which is flexible, long, lightweight and undulating, which is tubular, may or may not be closed or, alternatively, made from threads, fibres or strips, the two parts attached to each other by virtue of linking elements, the rear part 2 is the part via which it is caught in flight by direct gripping with the hand or indirectly by means of a catching device produced in at least one piece, including a relatively slim upper part, for example a relatively rigid wire or cable 23 provided with a slip knot 26 by virtue of a ring 25 and extending above the relatively fatter and more rigid rod of a handle 24 intended to be contracted over the said tail 2, as it passes, in the slip knot, when the player pulls it sharply downwards via the handle 27 against the upper part 23. <IMAGE>
