PURPOSE:To stabilize a circuit operation point by providing an npn transistor (TR) which has its base connected to its drain through a resistance, and its emitter connected to a negative power source through a resistance and also to the base of a pnp TR. CONSTITUTION:The base of the npn TR Q4 is connected to the emitter of the pnp TR Q2 through the resistance R5, the emitter of the Q4 is connected to the negative power source through a resistance R6 and also connected to the base of the Q2, and the collector of the Q4 is connected to a positive power source. A collector current Ic is determined by the base-emitter voltage of the Q2. For the purpose, the base-emitter voltage of the npn TR is supplied to between the base and emitter of the Q2 to stabilize the base-emitter voltage of the Q2 and stabilize the Ic. Further, variation in the base-emitter voltage of the Q2 with temperature is nearly equal to variation in the base-emitter voltage of the npn TR with time and variation in the Ic with temperature can be suppressed. |
