PURPOSE:To offer a thermal fixing method in which the surface of a fixing film is prevented from being damaged or shaved, the fixing of residual developer caused by the damage, etc., is prevented, excellent fixing performance and offset resistance are accomplished, waiting time is short and power consumption is low. CONSTITUTION:This developer is used in a fixing method for thermally fixing an image developed by developer to a recording material by a heating body 11 which is fixedly supported and a pressure member 18 which opposingly press-contacts to the heating body 11 and brings the recording material into contact with the heating body 11 through the film, and it contains fine powder treated with silicone oil or silicone varnish. Then, the developer is used in this thermal fixing method. |
