PURPOSE:To impart soft and unique slimy feeling, shrink-proofness and antipilling property to animal hair fiber by immersing animal hair fiber in a treating liquid containing a hydroxyalkyl phosphine and a proteinase. CONSTITUTION:Animal hair fiber is immersed in a treating bath containing (A) one or more kinds of hydroxyalkyl phosphine and its derivative expressed by formula (R<1> is 1-10C hydroxyalkyl; R<2> is 1-10C alkyl or hydroxyalkyl) and (B) a proteinase as active components (one-bath process) or in treating baths containing the above components A and B in separate baths (two-bath process) to impart the animal hair fiber with delicate soft and unique slimy feeling, shrink-proofness, antipilling property and obtain bleaced fiber having natural whiteness resistant to yellowing. |
