PURPOSE:To provide the title apparatus molding fiber reinforced plastic by controlling a delivery eye and a press roller corresponding to the winding angle of a reinforcing fiber to a mandrel and winding the reinforcing fiber delivered from the delivery eye around the mandrel at an accurate angle. CONSTITUTION:In a filament winding apparatus wherein the opening bar 3 of a delivery eye 2 is rotated to deliver a fiber along the opening bar 3 to wind the same around a rotary mandrel 1 at a predetermined angle and the fiber wound around the rotary mandrel 1 is brought into close contact with the mandrel 1 by a press roller to mold fiber reinforced plastic, the roller is explosively coupled with the delivery eye 2 if desired and rotated in synchronous relation to the rotation of the opening bar 3 of the delivery eye 2. Therefore, a filament winding molded product free from voids and stable in fiber content can be produced without increasing the number of control shafts. |
