PURPOSE:To produce a long member generating no separation at a connected part using a coated cord hard to generate separation from the overlapped part of coated cords by providing an identifying means to the coated cord in the vicinity of at least one end part thereof. CONSTITUTION:Cotton yarns of 180 denier are bonded to a narrow coated cord 10 cut by a bias cutter as an identification mark 16 in the vicinity of one end part in the longitudinal direction shown by an arrow L of said cord 10 in parallel to the end part 10A of the cord 10. By classifying the cotton yarns 12 by color, a use can be identified. Since the identification mark 16 becomes a standard when the narrow coated cords 10 are connected in an overlapped state, the generation of inferiority such that an overlap demension is too long is prevented. |
