PURPOSE:To evacuate a cavity in the case of injection molding of a cold runner type injection molding machine. CONSTITUTION:Cartridge heaters 3 are provided in an upper die 1 and a lower die 2. Runner blocks 24, 25 for forming a runner 30 are arranged at an upper side of the die 1 through a heat insulator 23, and a cooling pipe 31 is provided in the block 25. An annular wall 38 is fixed to the outer periphery of the die 1, a packing 43 in inner contact with the wall 38 is mounted on the outer periphery of the die 2, and a vacuum chamber 37 is partitioned at the outer peripheral side of the engaged part of the die 1 with the die 2. |
