METHOD FOR THE PREPARATION OF GAS-RERMEABLE TISSUES FOR CATALYTIC AMMONIA OXIDATION

The tissues produced are used as catalysts for ammonia combustion and for back production of platinum metals. By the method, the necessary weight of the nets per unit area - more than 300 g/m2 is achieved for the respective process. For knitting, of round nets platinum filaments are used with 4 to 12 wt.% rhodium or 4 to 12 wt.% palladium and rhodium and palladium filaments with 2 to 15 wt.% nickel, 2 to 15 wt% nickel and copper which have diameters ranging from 50 to 120 mcm, tensility strength from 900 to 1050 N mm2 and tension yield point from 0.5 to 3%. Linear knitting machine with pitch from 3.63 to 1.81 mm is used, as the length of the stitch as from 2 to 6 mm.
