The hinge comprises inner and outer links between the halves. The outer link pivots in two opposite directions at the end of each complete opening or shutting movement, and has a cam face concentric to its fixed axis with an apex at the end. A spring arm is ineffective as long as it bears against this face, but shuts the hinge on leaving it.The spring (31) has an oblong arm (46) sliding along the cam face (48), and which presses against the apex (50) at one end at the conclusion both of the opening and the shutting movement. |
