<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate debugging at the time of developing a program in a semiconductor integrated circuit device operated by the program. CONSTITUTION:This semiconductor integrated circuit device is provided with a DMA controller 1 for controlling data transfer between an internal data memory 2 and an external data memory 9, holds the value of an specified address present in a register 5, detects the coincidence of the value of address data outputted from the DMA controller 1 with the value of the address data held at the register 5 by a comparator circuit 4, and outputs break hit signals. A sequence control part 6 responds to the break hit signals and stops the progression of the program. Thus, the debugging of the program can be facilitated even in the semiconductor integrated circuit device provided with a DMA function.</p> |
